Exercise Physiology: Athletic Training/Sports Medicine 1993 New York Chiropractic College: Doctorate in Chiropractic -Cum Laude Certified Athletic trainers are licensed healthcare professionals who specialize in the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of sports related injuries. They are an integral part of sports medicine teams worldwide. Internships with West Virginia University Sports Medicine department providing healthcare coverage for multiple sports teams. (Football, Baseball, Wrestling, Women's tennis, Track & Field). Mountainview Rehab hospital.

Experience

7+ years as an Adjunct faculty member at New York College of Health professions within the health sciences department. Teaching assignment topics encompassed: Anatomy & Physiology, Kinesiology, Medical Terminology, Pathology, Medical ethics and practice management, Biomechanics. Seeking to compliment my teaching responsibilities by providing one-on-one or group tutoring. I have found that in addition to helping patients in a clinical setting, being involved with students in an academic setting are is the most gratifying experiences in my professional career. Other than treating patients/athletes and teaching I am an avid triathlete (swim/bike/run). I have completed 3 IRONMAN distance triathlons ( swim 2.4 miles, bike 112 miles, run 26.2 miles) in Lake Placid, NY; Atlantic City, NJ, and Roth, Germany. I typically raise money for charities on my way to the starting line. I also participate in shorter distance triathlons throughout the year. I am a Brand Ambassador and a member of the racing team for DELMOSports which is one of the largest race companies in NJ. Therefore, I believe my educational background, teaching/clinical experience, as well as a complimentary athletic lifestyle allows me to have a mastery of many health related topics.
